ACTIVITIES

There are lots of things to do around the local area for you and the family. Loads of lovely walks, the River Thames close by and lots of interesting sites to visit in the local area and beyond.

Walking

There is no end of fabulous rural walking routes directly from our location. The Thames Path is just 200m away from here. You will find suggested routes in the information folder in your Lodge, along with a waterproof Ordnance Survey map that you can use during your stay. If you bring a dog, they will be sure to enjoy the change of scene too. Just be sure to obey the Country code and also take your doggie poop away with you!

Road Cycling

There are lots of great routes for road cycling in the area. Rides are mostly hilly because we are situated on the edge of the Chiltern Hills. Your hostess used to train for Ironman so has many different route suggestions for different distances that will be available in the Information folder in your Lodge.

Mountain Biking

There are some excellent possibilities for mountain bike routes in the area. The Thames Path is located about 200m from here and the Ridgeway is accessible just a few miles away.

Paddle Boarding

Try your balance at paddle boarding on the Thames – coaching available by prior arrangement. If you are interested in this option, please request information at time of booking.
